Thonglao Srithong

K. Thonglao has been a nursery and field assistant, working with FORRU-CMU, since the unit's inception in 1994. Over the years, she has worked on most of FORRU-CMU's projects, from phenology studies in natural forest, to nursery-based seed research and field trials. She helped to generate much of the species-specific information in FORRU-CMU's early publications, such as "How to Plant a Forest" and "Tree Seeds and Seedlings". She continues to work on seedling production at the unit's Doi Suthep tree nursery and is assisting with the development of the new tree nursery and seed bank at the Doi Suthep Nature Study Centre. Her current position is sponsored by the "Global Tree Seed Bank Program", funded by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
