Rattanamon Aisao (Som)
Education Officer (Part Time) & Research Student (MSc)
Som graduated with a B.Sc. in Ecology from Chiang Mai University in 2012. She joined FORRU-CMU in 2016 as an Education Officer. She works on the "Forests on Blackboards" project, sponsored by the Keidanren Nature Conservation Foundation and organizes and implements a wide range of education activities. She swapped to working as a part-time education officer in 2018, as she started work on her MSc., investigating the use of tropical, deciduous, tree, seedling traits to determine drought tolerance. Her study aims to increase understanding of how plant functional traits can be used to select suitable species for forest restoration.
