Panya Waiboonya
Research Student (PhD)

Panya graduated with a BSc in Biology in 2007 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession, at Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2008. In 2010, he completed his MSc in Applied Ecology at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.  He received a PhD in Biology at Chiangmai University in 2019. For his PhD, he focused on improving the techniques of direct seeding technique and seed storage of native tree seed for tropical forest restoration. He is currently carrying out research on forest restoration in Tak province, Northern Thailand. He is currently a lecturer in ecology at Srinakharinwirot University.
