Nuttira Kavinchan

Nut
Research Student (PhD)

Nuttira graduated B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Biology department, Faculty of Science, CMU. She completed her Ph.D. in 2014. Her thesis for Ph.D. was “Soil carbon sequestration and dynamics of natural forest ecosystems and forest restoration plots in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province”. The study was conducted in Ban Mae Sa Mai plot (plot 1998, 2002 and 2007). Soil pits were dug to study the soil profile and soil characteristic. This research has provided insight about the ability of soil carbon accumulation and litter decomposition in the forest that was restored by using framework tree species method.
