Chiang
Mai University Science Faculty provides institutional
support for FORRU in the Biology Department, awards a small
annual grant to support FORRU as a research unit of the Science
Faculty, and funded on project " Propagation and Field
Performance of Indigenous Forest Tree Species for Environmental
Protection 2003-05". |

Doi
Suthep-Pui National Park (DSNP) logisitcal support
and partnership for FORRU's work in the national park including
a location for the nursery, transport and planning field plots.

British
Embassy initially donated the computer to create our
website, and has also supported a range of workshops and,
along with the British Council,
school events. |

British
Council has provided support to FORRU for many events
over the years, including the conference "Forest
Restoration For Wildlife Conservation" in 2000,
printing of early publications, travel for experts and in
2008 and 2009, education events for 10 Chiang Mai schools
concerning climate change. |

The
Biodiversity Research and Training Program (BRT) has
funded two past projects on biodiversity in evergreen forests,
and presently funds a project on deciduous forest restoration.

Conservation Network in Kanchanaburi has funding
from the Keidanren Nature
Conservation Fund to undertake
a reforestation project, with support and training from FORRU-CMU,
creating a buffer zone to mitigate effects of Human-Elephant
conflict around Salak Pra Wildlife Sanctuary |

Nature Conservation Fund provides
funding to the Elephant Conservation Network
in Kanchanaburi to recieve support and training from FORRU-CMU. |

Plant
a Tree Today (PATT) Foundation
supported tree planting in 2006 at Ban Mae Sa Mai (Hmong village
in northern Thailand), and is now providing funding through
the IUCN for FORRU-CMU to provide training
for the Doi Mae Salong Reforestation project. |

East
Malling Research (EMR)
acts as our partner /co-ordinator for the two Darwin Initiative
projects. 1. 'Education and training for restoring tropical
forest biodiversity' 2002-05 and, 2. 'Facillitating forest
restoration for biodiversity recovery in Indochina' 2005-08.

Landscapes (David Blakesly) provides research advice
and training for nursery staff, as well as administration
of Darwin Initiative projects. |

Darwin
Initiative has funded a variety of local and regional
outreach projects, and now funds projects in Krabi and Cambodia,
as well as the production of a generic manual of forest restoration
applicable throughout S. E. Asia. |

Conservation Society of Thailand is FORRU's partner
organisation for the Darwin Initiative project
restoring Gurney's Pitta habitat in Krabi, Southern Thailand. |

Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew is FORRU's partner organisation
for the Darwin Initiative project establishing
FORRU-Cambodia. |

International Union For The Conservation Of Nature (IUCN),
is working with FORRU and Thailand's Office
of Supreme Command on the reforestation project at
Doi Mae Salong. |
